Give it Away Now...

So, a few weeks back, I won these fun greeting cards made by Lady Stiles from The Beauty of Life.  Cute, huh?

What's that?  You said you want some, too?

Okay, okay...settle down...you may just get lucky and find a set of these in your very own mailbox one day soon. MmmHmm.  Lady Stiles is going to send one lucky reader a set of their very own greeting cards.  Just like mine.  Only not.  You will actually get 2 extra cards with surprise photos and greetings.  Sweet.

If you would like to enter to win a set of these beauties, simply leave a comment on this post telling me why snail mail totally kicks e-mails butt.  You can be serious.  You can jest.  You can make up a story.  You can tell me a truth.  It would also be nice if you'd stop over and say hello to Lady Stiles...it's not a requirement, but "it'd be a lot cooler if you did."***

***BONUS ENTRY: Tell me which movie this quote (the underlined one) is from (in a separate comment).  It's an oldie but a goodie...and back in college, we used to watch it on a loop...and recite it by heart.

Giveaway ends May 14th at 11:59 pm (Eastern time).  Be sure I have some way of getting in touch with you if you win (email, link back to blog, etc.).  Good Luck!

*Update May 15: Winner by random dot org draw is #2 Erin from Eating My Way Back...congrats Erin! Thanks to all who participated...and yup, the movie was Dazed and ConfusedAll right, all right, all right...

  2. I like snail mail because I like to walk to the big blue mail box and toss the mail in. My 3 year old gets a huge thrill from throwing the mail in! too cute.

  6. I love snail mail. It's so wonderful going to the mail box and finding a letter addressed to you that is not a bill or an advertisement.

  7. Snail mail rocks! It's a way of spending time with a friend who's far away. If you take time to write a letter, hopefully the recipient knows they were thought of fondly during the writing. Handwritten is the best.

  8. I love snail mail because it is more personal. Plus it gives me the satisfaction of having to buy pretty paper, ink and wax seals. How can I give that away? :)

    Lovely giveaway.

Snail mail is the ultimate best! I love how i get to receive packages and letters and feel all that excitement when opening them. It just feels more special than opening an email which is just so boring...lol.

  10. Dazed and Confused, said by Wooderson (Matthew McConaughey) character when he and Randall go to pick up Mitch.

  11. Also, who doesn't love the arrival of a shiny package. When I was unemployed, there were days when the only reasons I could rouse myself from depression enough to shower and put on clean clothes was to get the mail and go to the library.

    Slow post saves lives!

  12. Delayed gratification for the loved ones. Handwritten. Two things that make it great. Thanks.

  19. such pretty cards! i'm still a bit old fashioned when it comes to paper vs. digital. the web is so convenient, but it takes a lot of the romance out of it. actually handwriting a note, or turning a page instead of clicking a button on your kindle (guilty there too), feels so much more genuine. anywho, i'm all about the snail mail notes.

    great giveaway!

  20. Snail mail rocks because you can't perfume an email. You also can't fold an email and put it next to your heart. :)
