A while I ago, Netflix "recommended" the show
Jessica Jones as something I might like. At first, I didn't listen. As much as I love comics-turned-movies-and-television-shows, I've never actually been a comic book reader myself. All this to say that I wasn't really sure who this Jessica Jones was and what she was about. But I did add it to "My List"...you know, just in case.
Fast forward to the release of season 2 of
Daredevil—which I do watch and had been anxiously awaiting. As per my m.o., I immediately binge-watched it (something I equally love and loathe about the way Netflix simultaneously releases an entire season of their original programming).
