Presto Pasta Nights #197 Roundup

Okay.  You've heard of the Never Ending Pasta Bowl, right?  Well, you're gonna want to go out and find yourself one...because I'm about to show you a grand parade of mouthwatering pasta that you'll want to use to fill that bowl.  Over. And Over. Again.  Thanks so much to everybody who sent in a dish for Presto Pasta Nights #197.  I enjoyed myself far too much this past week.  I'm on a virtual carb-high!  Also, thanks so much to Ruth for having me as a host this week.  It is always a pleasure☺.  So, without further ado...let's take a look at what's filling our GIGANTIC table this week!

Starting us off this week is Andrea from Nummy Kitchen.  She made a Spaetzle Soup to please her family.  Looks fantastic...this would please my family, too!

Kristi from Veggie Converter 365 shares her Vegetarian Meatless Mushroom Meatball Pasta.  She thinks the sauce is equally as good eaten in a sub.

Teresa from A Blog About Food brought a rich, satisfying, and oh-so-mouthwatering Mushroom Stroganoff to share with us this week. Mmmm!

Tina from Life in the Slow Lane at Squirrel Head Manor makes a delicious casserole of Pasta alla Puttanesca which she paired with some gorgeous green beans and a bottle of wine.

I (Heather from girlichef) went into the kitchen not knowing how different I'd come out after tasting this rich, erotic, inviting pot of Gnocchi w/ Oxtail RagĂș.

My friend Deb from Kahaki Kitchen roasted up some eggplant to make tempting Penne w/ Roasted Eggplant Purée.

Gayathri from Gayathri's Cook Spot is sharing a big bowl of her colorful and nutritious Veggy Pasta with us this week.

Pia from Cook Healthy made a Rice Pasta and Noodle Medley in Tomato Sauce with a bit of Lebanese inspiration.

Sharing with us her Macaroni Sundal this week is Aruna of Veggie Paradise.  She says it is a wonderful twist on usual macaroni w/ sauce...it contains coconut, and chiles, and curry leaves...oh my!

Akila from Learning to Cook made a heavenly looking and sounding Pasta Payasam/Pasta Kheer.  I am so intrigued by this sweet pasta dish...isn't it pretty!

Theresa from The Food Hunter's Guide to Cuisine made a gorgeous Tomato, Spinach & Mushroom Sauce that is sure to warm you up when you toss it with your favorite pasta.  At least I think so.

Prathima from Prat's Corner, a self-admitted Pastaholic (welcome to the club, Prat!) brings a delectable Pasta in Spicy Tomato Sauce this week.

Even though she makes a lot of pasta, Claudia from Journey of an Italian Cook joins PPN for the first time this week with her Vintage Pasta with Shrimp and Tomatoes.  Way to kick off the beginning of a beautiful relationship, Claudia!

Next up we have Gay from A Scientist in the Kitchen bringing us a fairly simple dish to make that is jam-packed with luscious flavors, Linguine with Sardines.

Priya from Priya's Easy N Tasty Recipes cooked up a "breezy" Creamy Mushroom Pasta in which she sautéed whole mushrooms w/ onions, cream and some flavorings.

Joanne from Eats Well With Others is one of the most devoted runners I know...she never ceases to amaze me with her stories...and now she's on  track with Eat. Live. Be. Better for the new year with her beautiful Pasta with Ruby Chard and Cranberries.

And now from the blog Sunshine & Smile we have Kankana bringing us a big hearty plate full of Penne Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes.

Juli from Pictures of all my Princesses is sharing a "hearty, tasty, and lightly spiced Middle Eastern dish" that uses both brown lentils and orzo called Mujadara.

Kevin from Closet Cooking developed an amazing Roasted Red Pepper Pesto with Feta and Kalamata Olives with Greek-inspired flavors that totally makes me want to go on vacation.  To Greece.  Now.

Daphne from More Than Words however, wants to transport me to a completely different country with her tempting Viet Style- Roasted Peanut Noodle Salad.  Hey...I'm easy.

Up next is our fearless leader in all things pasta (and creator of PPN), Ruth of Once Upon a Feast with a sweet, crunchy pasta dish that works in both Italian sausage and swiss chard... Pasta with Sausages, Swiss Chard, and Pine Nuts. Yes, please!

While Anu's Pasta Delight with Spinach Patties may take a bit longer than some meals to plate, I think the end result is totally worth the extra bit of patience.  Check it out over at Truth Personified.

Please excuse while I wipe the drool from keyboard...the result of this heavenly Lasagna with Artichokes from Caffetteria of La caffetteria rosa.

Edie, Meredith, and Jennifer from A Busy Nest sent over a beautiful Four Cheese Pesto Lasagna...one of those being Fontina- a personal favorite of mine.  Tempting, isn't it!?

My old pal Gin from Once Upon a Gourmet Gin returns from a far-too-extended blogging break with "her" dish, Spicy Sesame Noodles.  I'm pretty sure these noodles say Welcome Back ;)

Did somebody say bacon?  Oh yes, that was Debbi of Debbi Does Dinner. She said bacon and more with her delectable Pumpkin Pasta with Bacon!

Curry Leaf of Tasty Curry Leaf (Experiments, Emotions, Experiences with Food) brings one of my favorite, if surprising, pasta add-ins to the table this week with her tempting Peanut Butter Pasta.

Personally, I like to wind down with a bit of wine.  So bringing this amazing roundup to a close with this beautiful plate of Drunken Spaghetti from Christine at Kits Chow is my idea of the perfect ending!

Be sure to head on over to the home of Presto Pasta Nights to check out links to the previous 196 roundups and to check out who is hosting in the future.  Next week's host is Jen from Tastes of Home.  So go ahead...get your pasta on...all over again!
