My Legume Love Affair (MLLA) #45 {ROUNDUP}

I am so excited to bring you a post that is chock-full of delightful dishes piled high with a variety of fabulous legumes that were cooked up during the month of March.  I had a wonderful time hosting My Legume Love Affair #45 and was amazed by the sheer variety of legume-laced goodies that so many awesome bloggers cooked up this month.

Whether you want to start off your day with waffles or paani puri -- you can.  Go ahead and choose from soup, fritters, pasta, or salads for a sustaining and healthy lunch.  Maybe you're thirsty and want to cool off with a tasty beverage -- with or without alcohol?  You can do that.  We've got appetizers and tasty bites to get your juices flowing.  Entrees that contain meat or ones that are purely vegetarian...either way, they're packed with legumey goodness.  And don't forget the side dishes to complete your meal.  Maybe you want to try your hand at growing your own bean sprouts or making your own tofu?  Oh yeah.  Look no further.  And maybe your sweet tooth is just itching to be satisfied.  You can do that here, as well.  From America to Mexico to India to Turkey...and beyond.  You'll find a little bit of everything as you browse these fabulous selections sent in from around the globe.

    This is a phenomenal roundup that really covers any type of meal out there. Just like you said, from breakfast to dinner. Too many goodies to try.

  16. We love beans at our house! 
    One time when I was visiting Mexico (before Mexican husband even), I ate a dessert made with black beans.  It was super delicious but my Northern Mexican husband doesn't know what I'm talking about and I ate the dish while in Southern Mexico.  Have you ever heard of a sweet dish made with black beans?  It was almost like a bean soup but sweet. 

  17. OOOhhh, no...I haven't ever tried anything like that. It sounds good, though.  I made some bean candies for the new year, but those used pinto's...though I imagine any type would work.  But that doesn't help with the "soupy" aspect. Hmmm.  If I come across anything, I will let you know! =)
